LISTEN!! Do yourself a favor & PULL UP to BierWax! This spot is fire, with a fire vibe and fire beer selection. ERIC the bartender from MIA made our stop here that much more enjoyable! We are telling all of our friends about this gem of a spot and we WILL BE BACK!

Love that they have outdoor seating - both covered patio seating in the back as well as a few covered tables in the front on the sidewalk. In the summer they have tables in the street during Open Streets on the weekends. Good selection of beers including non alcoholic (the Kölsch by Best Day Brewing was great).

Such an amazing vibe and great staff. Craft beer and vinyl listening bar. (They have cocktails as well) Super trendy and always a great crowd. Must visit!!!

Excellent bar for beer lovers, with about a dozen taps and plenty of cans available. No shortage of good beers from a wide range of styles and breweries! Strong beer selection aside, they have a DJ playing great music, without splitting anyone's ear drums. They have bar seating, tables, and a backyard patio that's heated in the winter. The space is a bit cramped at parts, but it's well kept and gives a cozy vibe. Super knowledgeable bartender when I went, definitely a great bar for craft beers!

beautiful atmosphere. Great beer selection. Good drinks. Excellent decor which brings out the old School elements of music.

Such a fun bar!!! The live DJ was a nice touch and the bartenders were UGH MAZING! Fred and shay were so nice.

On a nice and chilly Thursday night, I came here after watching the Nets lose to the Pistons on home-adjacent (the Nets are originally from New Jersey! Even with the name change, they're still from New Jersey!) court only to be totally blown away by the utter friendliness of the bartender and surprisingly, by a beer I had here! It was a something-something-pineapple-upside-down-cake. It was the juiciest beer ever and that is the 3rd time in life that I have ever had alcohol that tasted good (the other two were smoothie beers). I was highly impressed! The atmosphere is so chill and peaceful! It was largely empty when I walked in and within minutes, a pretty nice crowd entered! After all, my pineapple-upside-down-cake brings all the boys to the yard.

I came here intentionally because there was a deal with a separate app. This was out of my typical comfort zone but an always willing to try something new. I went in without that much prior research and though I knew they had craft beers on tap, I didn't know the general vibe. It was very audiophile focus with albums in shelves throughout the place and photos of famous artists/rappers. It was Saturday and packed and there were a lot of jams. They had drinks on tap and with bottles. Other than beers, they also had ciders, wines and cocktails. I did cider because I favor that more and it was a chill glass. Apparently you can avoid fees by paying in cash but I didn't see the sign until after. Also the bathroom is really on the small side so I would keep that in mind when visiting. Because it was packed and it is a small place, I didn't try to stay as long. I would try either coming early in the weekend (after eating since there is not really food) or during the week. I did love the music here and the overall vibe. I think on a not so packed day, this could be a good place to have a second date or meet up with friends.

Came across this Prospect Heights gem this past weekend while strolling through the neighborhood, and so glad I stopped by! Not only does it have a fantastic list of beers on tap as well as bottles, but they are also reasonably priced and you can get many (if not all) of the drafts in taster vs other sizes as well. Some of our favorites were the Killsboro Gimme Gimme More Juice (fruited sour) and the Oxbow Imperial Saison. The ambiance of this spot is also pretty special. The place is definitely music and beer forward (and the friendly bartender working curated an awesome playlist from many of the records and CDs - def a nostalgic throwback). Also it's spacious with a large enclosed back patio (seems perfect for spring summer and fall). Will be back again next time in the neighborhood for sure!

Cool beer bar in Prospect Heights situated around many bars and restaurants. Limited seating inside, though a much more relaxing outdoor setup during the warmer months. Beer ranges for $8-11 while there are some snacks to purchase as well. Decided on a draft beer as well as the Chips and Salsa ($3). Easy going atmosphere outside as you can slowly munch on the chips with beer on hand. Nothing extraordinary but chill vibes all around. Can get crowded as the night progresses, yet the bartenders keep things on track regardless. Good visit for any beer lover.
